What Is NYSFDA?
Founded in 1889, the New York State Funeral Directors Association, Inc. (NYSFDA) is the oldest association of
funeral directors in the United States. Comprised of over 850 funeral firms employing more than 3500 licensed funeral directors, NYSFDA is the largest and most powerful organization representing the interests of large and small funeral firms in New York State. In fact, NYSFDA is the nationally recognized leader of state funeral directors associations in the entire country. NYSFDA headquarters are located in Albany, New York.
